UnzipIt provides a free, browser-based archive extraction tool. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the service or other users. You are responsible for the files you choose to open, extract, save, and use.

Archive processing runs locally in your browser using client-side code, Web Workers, and WebAssembly. Your archives and their contents are not uploaded to our servers for extraction.

The service does not provide server-side archive extraction, cloud file storage, user accounts, or file sharing links.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to open and use the archives you process with UnzipIt.

You are responsible for the safety of extracted files. Do not open archives or run executables from sources you do not trust.

We aim to keep UnzipIt available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Browser support varies. Some features, such as saving directly to a folder, are only available on browsers that support the required APIs.

Extracted files can still contain unsafe content. UnzipIt does not scan files for malware, validate the safety of extracted content, or guarantee that archives are safe to open.

Do not open executable files or documents from sources you do not trust.

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every archive format, encrypted archive, damaged archive, or browser environment will work.

We are not responsible for data loss, device issues, or decisions you make based on extracted files.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The updated date above indicates the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
